Korea
Korea, “Land of the Morning Calm”, is a land of opposites existing in conjunction with each other and is situated on the Korean Peninsula in East Asia. Korea is divided into North Korea and South Korea, and the term “Korea” may refer to either or both of these states. Over 70% of the land is mountainous with the eastern regions consisting of mainly rugged mountain ranges and deep valleys. As for the weather, Korea has four distinct seasons. The summers are very hot and humid, and the winters are cold and dry. The springs and autumns, which finish much too quickly, provide a welcome relief from the extremes of summer and winter. The official language is Korean although most of the Korean people are easy with English language also. Education System: There are a range of programs to choose from, as most universities in Korea offer language programs for overseas students.
